Moral and cultural fall out from the 1947 separation of church and state ruling

'We find few historians who have been diligent enough in their search for truth; it is their common method to take on trust what they help distribute to the public; by which means a falsehood once
received from a famed writer becomes traditional to posterity."

                                                    ----John Dryden
                                                    English Poet, 1631-1700

America was founded on Christian principles and beliefs. Not Judeo-Christian teachings, but Christian teachings. This is not to disparage those who practice Judaism, it's simply a historical fact. The writings of the Founding Fathers and leaders of the colonies at the time America became a Republic, testify to the accuracy of this statement. Those who deny this historical truth either haven't done their homework or do so because it doesn't fit their agenda.

There are people out in America who simply cannot grasp the concept that there are individuals in this country who are out to destroy America's culture and heritage. In order to destroy America and turn it into a socialist police state, it is first necessary to destroy Christianity by eliminating the people's faith in God and replacing it with faith in government.

What better way to do this than to banish all references to God and Christianity in the public schools as the Supreme Court has done repeatedly? In 1962,  the U.S. Supreme Court banned school prayer; in 1963 it outlawed Bible reading, and in 1980, it outlawed the posting of the Ten Commandments in schools where children could see them.

The extreme danger which the absence of moral and religious instruction poses to a nation was well recognized by John Adams who wrote:

"We have no government armed in power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other."

In May 1854, the Congress of the united States of America passed a resolution in the House of Representatives which declared:

"The great vital and conservative element in our system is the belief of our people in the pure doctrines and divine truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ."

America is a Christian nation and it was founded on Christian doctrine. To attempt to say otherwise is to deny the very existence of our Republic and history. Let me ask liberals, hyphenated special interest groups and politicians a question: What if 100,000 Catholics went to Israel and demanded that Israel become a Christian country? What if 100,000 Baptists went to Iran and demanded that Iran become a Christian nation? What would happen if 100,000 Presbyterians or Methodists went to Communist China and demanded that China become a Christian nation?

The answer to these questions without a doubt is that the people of those nations would rise up and say, No. You have come to our country, but we're not going to trash our history and heritage just to suit you." It is the right of the sovereign people who live in those respective countries to protect their history and heritage.

So, why then are the liberals, Muslims, Buddhists, Jews and atheists demanding in the loudest of voices that America can no longer be a Christian nation, that we should be forced to deny our very history and heritage just to suit those who come to America to seek religious and personal freedom? There has never been any law, state or federal, that mandates immigrants who come to America have to worship any particular religion or become a Christian and there should never be one.

Freedom to worship is a given for those coming to America who become citizens. However, this generous precedent has been stomped on over the past 20 years by the masses entering America. Now, those coming here demand we roll over and play dead to accommodate their religion. To force a nation to surrender their culture and heritage is to invite constant inner turmoil, resentment and divisiveness. But, isn't that the agenda of the anti-God globalists? A house divided will fall.

The First Amendment gives citizens (not aliens who have no constitutional rights) the inalienable right to worship the religion of their choice. No where does it say that an entire country must flush it's heritage and culture just to accommodate 10 or 10,000 people who want to come to America and shove their religion down everyone's throat. This is a double-standard and indicates that those making these demands don't really support religious freedom.

In November, 2001, the NY Post reported that Muslim students will be permitted to pray in school during the holy period of Ramadan. The article went on to say,

"The faithful must pray at noon, as well as later in the day, preferably in a group.

"Students want to pray for the religious holiday.  We want to accommodate  them," Feinberg said, adding that students can ask  to have their schedules altered to avoid missing classes.

"School superintendents have contacted the Board of Education's legal department on how to proceed, particularly in light of the World Trade Center disaster and concerns about discrimination against Muslim students."

Yet, Christian students are discriminated against every day of the week based on some wording contained in a ruling by a 1947 Supreme Court.

Do people really expect there won't be any resentment because every religion except Christianity is suddenly being given the red carpet treatment while Christians are being persecuted in their own land?

Does this mean that Americans who wish to worship as Muslims, Jews, Mormans or Buddhists can't do so? Of course not.  This is one of the most important aspects of the First Amendment - that you can worship the religion of your choice and I have always been a staunch supporter of this tenet of American freedom.

Moral degeneracy

There can be no mistake if anyone takes the time to study the hard-core effect at eliminating Christianity and the Ten Commandments from America's landscape, you can see the moral rot and how its spread through all layers of our society. Why don't more Christians speak up for the Ten Commandments? Why do so many of them simply fall in line with the separation of church and state' propaganda?

Alexis de Tocqueville said, ""America is great because America is good. When America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great." What made America a great nation was her citizenry and the people's adherence to the Ten Commandments. To those who would destroy America and her heritage, these ten laws of God represent a threat, especially the first two: Thou shalt have no other gods before me, and Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image.

How wicked America has become in the pursuit of drugs, pornography, sodomy, lying, cheat and stealing from their fellow countrymen. The destruction of the family unit to please special interest groups. People wonder why crime is so high in this country? How could it not be when this nation has turned away from God in favor of political correctness and votes "for the party"?

If everyone is so happy in America, why are they drowning themselves in liquor, drugs, porn and destructive behavioral patterns? In her book, Dear and Glorious Physician, Taylor Caldwell wrote:

"He who looks to man for his meaning in life looks to a delusion, for men are nothing except in their relation to God. Do not center your heart upon mankind, for it is a chimera, a mirage. There have been those who have glorified man, have elevated humanity as an absolute in itself; they vehemently declare man to be valuable only in his external manifestations. This teaching has reached almost all civilized countries, to their disaster, for law and justice and mercy and kindness are not rooted in men, but in God, and without Him they cannot truly exist, Him who made them. Man is only the receptacle of grace; he is not grace himself."

Could it be that with God's laws out of sight and out of mind, the people of America are so empty, they are looking in all the wrong places for comfort and salvation?

You can fight back

Americans have the weapons to fight this disintegration of our heritage and values. Just say no. The next time the ACLU or some hyphenated group comes knocking and demands even more of our history, culture and heritage be sacrificed on the alter of political correctness, stand up and say no just as Justice Roy Moore has done down in Alabama.

Reject the  politically correct nonsense being pumped into our society. Refuse to be beaten into the ground by those with an un-American agenda. Lay down the gauntlet and stand up for what's right. If twenty or thirty million people stand up as a whole and say no, what are the U.S. Marshals going to do? Arrest 10% of the population? Call their bluff.

Freedom cannot be attained and retained by observers. Freedom gained and kept can only be achieved with a warrior class who will stand firm and live the words they speak.

Freedom is for the bravehearts.
