Update on KAL 007 Devvy Kidd
January 19, 2003The two stories I've covered over the years that have darn near broke my service provider are KAL 007 and the deaths of all those microbiologists. The first posting on KAL, Incident at Sakhalin, drew the single largest day of hits to this site ever.

This is the latest from the wonderful, dedicated family members trying to get these despicable liars in our government to bring home those 62 Americans the Ruskies have been holding as hostages since 1981.
One of them, if he's still alive, is Congressman Larry McDonald. Counterfeit U.S. Senator Jesse Helms has known since at least 1991 that the Russians have our people. That's a fact and if you don't believe me, get my CD Archives and read the facts - not speculation.

This is to alert you to changes to our website www.rescue007.org and inform you of important news.
We have reorganized the website in order to make existing material more accessible. Questions that have come in to us have made it very clear that viewers were not finding material that we had posted--or perhaps I should say "buried"--on the site. I think you will find it much easier to find your way around. Please take a look and give us your feedback. Feedback is very important to us.
In addition to reorganizing, we have published more material.
Serge Zavyalov has continued to translate Russian material for us, for which we are very grateful. We now have five (previously, four) top secret memos sent to Soviet Premier Andropov reporting on the search for the aircraft and the Black Boxes. These memos are very interesting, especially in that they report on tactics intended to deceive the West. They also contain some internal "disinformation" of their own! We will be following this up with an analysis of these memos and some of the false information they contain in the weeks to come.
We have also added a discussion of how KAL 007 could have gone so disastrously astray and an account of what happened physically to the plane after it was struck by the Soviet missile.
We have received tax exempt status from the IRS! This came through this past summer. We are a fully recognized 501(c)(3) corporation. Any financial contributions made to The International Committee for the Rescue of KAL 007 Survivors, Inc. are now fully tax deductible. (Send checks to P.O. Box 43, South Windsor, CT 06074.)
We would appreciate any financial help. At this point it would be used for expenses related to research in the U.S., contacting individuals in a position to call for investigations and maintenance of the website. If anyone is interested in supporting further research overseas--a major expense--let us know and we will discuss possibilities.
