Attack on Gaza Flotilla: Brute force of Zionism By: Devvy No, the Gaza Flotilla was full of terrorists bringing weapons to Gaza. Depending on which source you read, the Gaza Flotilla had no weapons or the ships were loaded with weapons and terrorists. When attacked during the night, the passengers tried to defend themselves with whatever they had available. According to Zionists and those sympathetic to Israel's act of piracy on the high seas, the commandoes were justified in using weapons to shoot down the passengers. I have tried to sift through the dozens upon dozens of news items looking for the truth. I watched former U.S. Ambassador Edward Peck's interview with Greta Van Susteren. He admitted the flotilla was "provocative." You can read the full interview here. There are so many accounts of what happened. Did the passengers and crew have the right to use chairs, sticks and anything else they could grab to defend themselves while being attacked at night in international waters some 80 miles off the coast? It's very dangerous out on the high seas in that part of the world and I for one would not travel on board any vessel without a gun to protect myself. In any event, here are some articles you might wish to read when your time permits: June 5, 2010. White House linked to flotilla organizers June 2, 2010. Israel's ambassador to the United States. "In an interview with Fox News, he described the operation, in which nine people "died" as "perfectly legal, perfectly humane – and very responsible...The US acted under similar international law when it fought the Germans and the Japanese in World War Two." For the Ambassador's clarification, the U.S. Congress formally declared war on Germany, April 6, 1917. Actually twice along with a formal declaration against Japan. Then fighting commenced. Who "climbed on board" without permission? Who dropped commandoes without permission onto that ship 80 miles out in international waters? Who is the aggressor here?
